Lakes Fla. The brown lines on the walls are exploratory tubes. Termites
will travel in these tubes building the tube as they move along the walls
searching for a source of food or in this case wood or anything made of
cellulose material. When they travel so far and are unsuccessful they will
return to the ground and try another spot.
